Six trials were conducted at the Longford Training Centre on Tuesday and there were some horses from the trials to be followed in the coming weeks.

Trial 1 was won by Foreboding from Piccadilly Tillie and both fillies showed ability in this trial, which was the quickest of the three 2YO trials run in 40.96sec.

Trial 2 for 2YO's was taken out by Abasova from Musique Player in a much slower 42.28sec.
Abasova is trained locally by Ian Hay.

Trial 3, the last of the 2YO trials was won by the first start winner in Socks (who is engaged this Sunday), from Gold Eliza and Batoka Sky (also engaged on Sunday)in 41.06sec.
I was taken by the trial of Gold Eliza as she raced very erratically and still finished within a length of the winner.

Trial 4 was a 3YO trial and was won by former smart juvenile Westella Magic from Stands to Reason and Delz Bells in the quick time of 40.60sec. All placegetters trialled well.

Trial 5 for Maidens was taken out by Hot Sybil from El Sunera and Whiskey Fella in 41sec.
The first two placegetters have shown good form for a Maiden class race and the third placegetter is a 5YO yet to race, but appears to have ability.

The last of our six trials, the Open Class Trial, was run in the fastest time of the morning (40.54sec.)and taken out by the honest 5YO gelding License, who has been placed behind some top gallopers in Dream Pedlar and Moulin Rouge through his career, from Umeaka and Sprintstar, with all three looking ready for a successful Autumn/Winter campaign.
