Longford Trials 11/5/10

Eight Trials were held at the Longford Training Centre on Tuesday and some of the results should bring up winners in the coming weeks.

Trials 1&2 were for 2YO's and both winners were impressive.
Trial 1 winner was Abasova who won with a bit in hand in the slower time of 41.15sec.

Trial 2 was taken out by Clan McLeod in a quick 39.91sec. Another from the same heat to impress was Bianforgetful even though unplaced.

Trial 3 was for 3YO Maidens with only a small field of three, but Arnika looked smart winning in a time of 40.19sec.

Trial 4 was won by March Fire in 40.40sec.

Trial 5 the third of the 3YO Maidens was won by the Troy Blacker trained Tom Tom in a time of 40.50sec.

Trial 6 trial should lead to a couple of upcoming winners in El Sunera and Nuki who both trialled very well in a time of 40.10sec.

Trial 7 an Open Trial was taken out by Ghandi from Face The Ace and both looked as though they are close to the money - winning time was 39.97sec.

The last trial was the quickest of the morning seeing Astro Comet show something like his best form, winning from Sprintstar and From Japan in a time of 39.06sec - All three are capable of winning in their next couple of starts.
