Six Trials were held on a very heavy track at Longford on Tuesday and here are some names to follow.

Trial 1 was won by Werbally in a time of 44.61sec.

Trial 2 may throw up a couple of coming winners in the form of the John Blacker pair, Mind Your Shoes and Second Dozen - both looked good, and trialled well within themselves, running a time of 44.27sec.

Trial 3 winner King Of Pleasure was successful in a time of 43.96sec.

Trial 4 was contested by some promising Maidens in the form of Blue Light (winner), from My Regards, and Matqui Maid, all capable of winning in the very near future, with the winning time of 42.26sec.

Trial 5 was won by promising 3YO from earlier in the season, Kite Runner, taking out his heat in 43.78sec. He is expected to run again at Launceston on August 1.

The last trial of the day was won in good style by top galloper Wealthy Lad, whose recent form has been bewildering to say the least, but he may have turned the corner.
He beat two staying types in Vegas Royale and Telerossi, both running handy trials, in a time of 43.24sec.

Recent trial winners entered at Hobart this Sunday include Astraphobic, Rulesto and Xaartee in the Nine Eleven Maiden 1100M, Drummond and Two Avenues in the 2Yo Hcp. and last start winner given to you in this column in Racers Eight - all worth consideration.
