Lad Wealthy after Sandown win

Smart Tasmanian galloper, Wealthy Lad returned a nice dividend for his Tasmanian owners at Sandown on Saturday, with a good win over 1300M in the final race of the day on a track rated as Heavy 10.
Trainer Bill Ryan expected a forward run following his good first up run at The Tote Racing Centre 13 days earlier and a smart trial win at Longford last Tuesday.
Connections are now to decide whether they go back to Victoria for a possible tilt at a heat of the Winter Championship, or drop tools and freshen him up for a second shot at the Newmarket in November, a race he ran a great 2nd in last year behind smart Victorian Scenic Silver.
Which ever way they decideto go it would be a nice problem to have.
