Longford Trials 23/6/09

Trials were held at Longford on Tuesday on a slow track which deteriorated as the day progressed.

Trials of note were :- Trial 1 won by ex David Hayes 2YO filly Face The Ace in good style from Our Nkwazi, an Arazi gelding, who also looked promising as these two spaced the rest.

Trial 2 went to the smart filly, The Hornet, another of top trainer Charlie Goggins' good 2YOs.

Trial 3 may produce an early winner in Telestory (even though he ran 2nd), who we have noted in earlier trials, but is yet to be produced in a race this prep.

Other good trials on the day were by Whoopi Gee, Blackato, Moulin Rouge and another Goggin trained Ana Can Can,formerly trained by leading Victorian mentor Mick Price, who defeated top notcher Colonel Parker and handy Mister Innocent.
All up there were 12 trials held which shows the strength in numbers of our thoroughbreds in training.
