Larry is planning a Tassie Trip

Very promising 3YO, Larry's Never Late is being aimed at the Hobart and Launceston Cups, according to his trainer Rod Douglas last week when being asked what the plans were for him.
Steve Moran was almost gobsmacked when Rod said he intended a raid on two of the major cups over our Summer Racing carnival in Tasmania. Obviosly Steve thought the gelding would be aiming at the Spring Cups in Victoria, as his form would certainly warrant such a rating.

Larry's Never Late is a winner at Caulfield and Sandown and has won up to 2200M and was placed in the Queensland Derby (Gr.1) and 4th in SA Derby (Gr.1), with stake winnings to the value of $240,000.
