Eleven Trials were held last Tues at the Longford Training Centre, and from those trials there were some promising performances.

The two 2YO trials highlighted smart efforts from both winners in Golden Needles (42.22) and Apache Chance (42.12) - they are both worth keeping an eye on in coming weeks.

The four trials for 3YO's came up with some outstanding prospects over the upcoming Summer Racing Carnival, with good trials turned in by Westella Magic (40.91), Fire Engine Jim, Capone (41.21), Catwen Boy, La Libretina (40.84), Rulesto (41.12) and Twice The Fun.
Five trials were conducted for 4YO's & Up, with the most significant trial being Trial 8 won by Lavaca (40.22) narrowly from Wealthy Lad, also in this trial was Vic winner Lock It In Eddie, all on the Newmarket trail.
Fastest winner of the day was smart mare She's Good As Gold (39.88).
There may well be some profit to be gained by sticking with some of these gallopers.
