Leon Laskey unearths a likely type By: Ron Riley - November 3rd, 2009 This article has been read: 203 times. |
| Hobby trainer Leon Laskey has found himself and partner Sharee Marshall, a very promising 3YO in the form of Arazi (USA) gelding, Mr Fashion, a good winner over another horse debuting in Twice The Fun, both of these horses likely to target the 3YO Cup on Newmarket day. The winner running a very quick 1.05.85 for the 1100M, over 2 seconds quicker than the next Maiden winner Roselands. Catwen Boy showed he is on track for the better 3YO races by winning first up after a spell, running slightly faster than Mr Fashion in the 0-66 Class 1100M. In the Brown Brothers Class 6 Hcp over 1100M we witnessed the return to winning form by Twenty Grand over the promising Relentless Pursuit, both likely to aim at a start in the Newmarket this month. We look to be in for a cracker meeting on 22 November at the Tote Racing Centre. |
