Six Trials were held at the Longford Training Centre yesterday, producing a few nice runs for future reference.
Trial 1 was won by Zac's Monty a 2YO gelding from the Elesha Spillane stables, and he looked forward in his preparation beating the Barry Campbell filly Hermanos Queen by 3 lens., this filly was a last start trial winner at the previous trials on 2/2/10.

Trial 2 was taken out by the Leon Wells 2YO gelding Ben,improving on his last trial at this venue, winning his heat by 4 lens. from A Touch Of Shades trained by Elesha Spillane.

The first of the 3YO heats was won narrowly by Man From Mars trained by Ramon Goldsmith at Longford from the Leon Wells filly Millow - both of these 3YO's should be seen to advantage in the coming weeks.

The second trial for 3YO's was won by the Mick Burles colt Symic who also won at the last trials at Longford. He narrowly defeated Lipseoni, a filly trained at Spreyton by Elesha Spillane, who also looked a likely improver.

The first of the two open trials was won by Lord Aspinall trained by Dean Wells, who won by a length from Tel Me If, a speedy type from the Mick Burles stables.

The final trial of the day saw the return of smart mare Araya from the Ken Hanson yard, who had a fine margin over the John Blacker trained Stadacona who looks to have come back very well from his break.
