There are some likely chances going around this weekend that have trialled well in recent times at Longford and among these are debut winner Silver Strike who looks a top prospect at Hobart on Sunday and in that same race Socks makes his debut.
Man From Mars is a likely type and although he was very green at the trials on Tuesday he appears to have plenty on ability - he lines up in the 3YO Maiden this week.
Savivor is the other recent good trial winner who may show up at odds this week or very soon, he is in the 3YO & Up Maiden over 1200M.

From a Tasmanian angle we have a lot to look forward to this weekend with the winners of the last two Vamos Stakes flying the flag on the mainland - Lady Lynette being fav. for the Group 1 Coolmore Classic worth $600k over 1500m at Rosehill and her former stablemate I'm A Hussy being fav. to win the Bonanove Hcp. at Caulfield over 1400m.
