Tasmania is the latest State to conduct night thoroughbred racing under lights at the TOTE Racing Centre.

Official night barrier trials are scheduled for 30th March commencing at 7.30pm with further trials to be conducted on 8th April as part of a full dress rehearsal covering all operational aspects of a thoroughbred race meeting.

The opening night on 15th April will feature the "Race for the Stars" a $25,000 open handicap over 1200metres and will also mark the start of the Tasmanian Autumn Racing Carnival. The 15th April will be followed by night meetings on 29th April and 20th May.

Dinner bookings are being taken now for the opening night and space is limited. If you are interested please phone the Club for a booking form.
