Privileges:
As a member of our Club you can take advantage of reciprocal arrangements to visit other racing clubs around Australia and overseas.
Through reciprocal privileges with the Victoria Racing Club, members are able to obtain members passes for the race that stops a nation, the Melbourne Cup (excludes members who reside in Victoria.)
The Tasmanian Turf Club has reciprocal privileges with most major metropolitan Clubs.
Members are usually required to show their badge at the Secretary’s office to obtain members passes. Whilst members passes are generally free most Clubs charge a fee on their major racedays.

When you become a member of the Tasmanian Turf Club you will reap the benefits of exclusive offers. As a member of this prestigious Club you will enjoy fast pace action, trackside thrills, non-stop excitement, class entertainment, excellent cuisine, wines of distinction and entry to the Members Reserve not accessed by the general public unless dining.
Members enjoy reciprocal privileges with other racing clubs both in and outside Tasmania as well as receiving significant discounts at the Launceston Cup Carnival such as picnic car spaces and the Members Reserve Luncheon.
As a member of the Tasmanian Turf Club you will be entitled to many benefits not on offer to the general public racegoers. You will receive a member’s badge and a guest badge which entitles you and your guest to free admission to all thoroughbred meetings conducted at the TOTE Racing Centre (Launceston), Tattersalls Park (Hobart), Longford Cup, and entry to all Devonport meetings.
You will get to enjoy the unsurpassed views of the track and surrounds from the fully air-conditioned members area. Each member receives a Members car pass allowing parking inside the course (except on Launceston Cup day) giving easy access to and from the racecourse.
You will also get to have your say on any matter brought before the Annual General Meeting or a special general meeting of the Club. All full & senior financial members are given the right to vote.
Members are very important to our Club and we want to ensure you are kept up to date about the latest Club initiatives, major events and racemeetings, to do this the Club publish and forward a quarterly newsletter for members.

Fees:
Membership fees for the 2012/2013 season are $165 for full membership, $110 Pensioner, $82.50 Senior (must have been a member for 25 consecutive years).
Dress Standards:
The Committee reserve the right to refuse admittance to the Members’ Reserve to any person, who in their opinion is not neatly attired. Gentlemen entering the Members’ Reserve must wear a shirt with collar attached.
All Guests – No thongs or sporting footwear are to be worn. Good condition dress Jeans are acceptable. A jacket and tie is only required on Launceston Cup day.
