1826
Where It All Began
The original Tasmanian Turf Club was formed in Ross, marking the birth of organised racing in Tasmania.
1871
Club Officially Established
The modern Tasmanian Turf Club was formally established in Launceston, with its first Cup Carnival offering 705 pounds in prize money.
1914
Iconic Grandstand Built
A major grandstand was opened — much of which still stands today — symbolising a golden era of racing.
1979
Clubs Unite
The Newnham and Longford clubs merged to form the TTC we know today, setting the stage for future growth.
